Three Layer stocks nine adult blanks for screen printers, clothing brands and merch companies: 1003 and 1005 cotton tees, 5108 and P280 pullovers, the 15001 heavyweight pullover, the 5109 full zip, the CR280 crewneck, 7770 shorts and 8801 joggers. Tee weights are 4.5 and 6.0 oz. Fleece weights run from lightweight 7.8 oz to heavyweight 12 oz. We offer no minimum ordering from January through September. Use paid samples of your selected style and color to test ink, pretreatment, cure and artwork size before bulk production. The 1003 and 1005 are 100% cotton tees, while the fleece tops and bottoms in this collection use cotton-poly blends.
Compare Screen Printing Blanks by Fabric and Fit
Compare these five specifications before choosing a blank for your print run:
- Tee yarn: Compare the 1003’s 30 singles combed cotton yarn with the 1005’s ringspun cotton. Both tees are 100% cotton.
- Size range: The 1003 and 1005 run adult S to 3XL. The P280 and 5108 run adult XS to 5XL.
- Fabric blend: The P280 and CR280 use 70/30 cotton-poly fleece. The 5108, 5109 and 15001 use 80/20 cotton-poly fleece.
- Fleece weight: Compare lightweight 7.8 oz 5108 and 5109, premium midweight 8.8 oz P280 and CR280, and heavyweight 12 oz 15001. Test your cure settings on the selected style and color.
- Color matching: Coordinating garments in one order are guaranteed to match from the same dye lot. Check which colors and sizes the selected styles share.

Heavyweight Urban Hoodie 15001: heavyweight 12 oz (407 GSM), 80/20 cotton-poly brushed fleece. It has 3 colors and adult sizes S to 3XL, in a regular fit.
Pullover Hoodie 5108: lightweight 7.8 oz (264 GSM), 80/20 cotton-poly fleece in 13 colors and adult sizes XS to 5XL.
Full Zip Hoodie 5109: a genuine YKK zipper and 100% ringspun cotton face yarn on lightweight 7.8 oz (264 GSM) 80/20 cotton-poly fleece. The 5109 size run covers adult XS to 3XL in 12 colors.
Midweight Crewneck CR280: side-seamed 70/30 cotton-poly fleece at premium midweight 8.8 oz (298 GSM). Choose adult S to 3XL in 18 colors.
Bottoms
Fleece Shorts 7770: midweight 8.8 oz (298 GSM), 70/30 cotton-poly fleece in 14 colors and adult sizes S to 3XL. Its chart lists waist around the body and outseam.
Premium Fleece Joggers 8801: choose from 15 colors in adult XS to 3XL, all in 8.8 oz (298 GSM) 70/30 cotton-poly fleece. Use the chart’s full waist circumference and outseam to select sizes.

Is there a minimum order for Three Layer screen printing blanks?
We offer no minimum ordering from January through September. During our busy season, October through December, please order single sizes in packs of 6 (one polybag) per color, per size. You can mix sizes and colors freely on one order. For a custom color, select one of the nine styles in this collection and order at least 600 pieces of that style in the chosen color, or 1,200 pieces for the 1003 and 1005 tees. The run may include mixed sizes. A brand new custom-cut style starts at 2,400 units.
How fast does an in-stock screen printing blank order ship?
In-stock orders paid and placed by 12pm PT ship the same day. This cutoff is a sitewide policy and applies to every style in the screen printing collection. Can I test a blank before a print run? After opening a wholesale account, order samples of the styles and colors you plan to print. Samples are paid at the standard wholesale price, with their cost credited back on your first order. When do print-shop orders ship free? Orders from the screen printing collection ship free at $200 or more on listed wholesale prices.
How long does a custom screen printing blank order take?
Production of a custom screen printing blank takes 60 days, followed by 60 days for shipping, for a total of 120 days. Plan your launch date around the full 120 days.
Should I pick a midweight or heavyweight blank for screen printing?
For most logo and graphic runs, the 8.8 oz (298 GSM) P280 pullover hoodie and CR280 crewneck are Three Layer’s premium midweight fabric, a 70/30 cotton-poly blend that balances opacity with a soft hand. For oversized prints or a heavier streetwear feel, the 12 oz (407 GSM) 15001 Urban hoodie in 80/20 cotton-poly gives more surface density and a higher cotton face for ink lay-down.
How do Three Layer’s screen printing blanks compare to Bella+Canvas or Independent Trading Co?
P280 and CR280 are 8.8 oz, 298 GSM, 70/30 cotton-poly fleece. Bella+Canvas 3719 and 3901 solids are 8.0 oz, 52/48 Airlume cotton-poly, 32 singles. The 3719 Athletic Heather blend is 90/10. Independent Trading Co IND4000 is 10 oz, 330 GSM manufacturer-stated, with 70/30 solids and houndstooth, a 100% cotton face yarn, and 52/48 heathers and safety colors.
